Ian attended our Investor Packs Made Easy online workshop and we got to know him throughout the day. He was the first one to connect and always the first one to come back after breaks. Like us, he believes in punctuality as a sign of respect.

I have known Ian for more years than he or I might like to remember. From the first time I met him I became aware of his high level of expertise in managing the technical infrastructure of buildings, large and small. He became, for many years, my 'go to man' for in depth assessments of technical bid responses. There appeared to be few, if any, gaps in his knowledge about current or future developments in the technical side of building maintenance and repair.

As a colleague and friend I have enjoyed his dry sense of humour and sharp wit. His ability to absorb new knowledge has always amazed me and that can be very clearly seen in the manner with which he has adopted an entirely new career over the past few years.

The important question about recommendations is the question least asked directly: "would you work with him again?" The only answer anyone will get from me is "yes, certainly".
