Summary
As a highly-trained and qualified executive and personal coach I help my clients to identify their goals, create resilience and make the very best use of their skills and resources. In order that they can create strategies which are grounded and robust.
I recognise that stress and lack of confidence hold many people and companies back from reaching their full potential and I love working with people to build realistic, workable strategies that help them gain focus and move forward. My approach is very robust and I help clients to find solutions and ways forward that are unique to their personal/professional needs. I am equally comfortable working with workplace issues, work-life balance issues or relationships issues and recognise that there is a frequently an overlap between all of these.
I am also a facilitator and a team building consultant. I have also delivered many training course on communication issues, such as giving interviews to radio and television, presentation skills, using coaching skills to become a better leader, organising effective meetings and minute writing. I also train and support people to develop their confidence skills.
Expertise
I'm a qualified and experienced coach (accredited by the International Coach Federation at Professional Coach Level, PCC) and Absolute Clarity and, previously, Resourceful Coaching.
Prior to setting up my own coaching business I worked as a media and communications trainer, PR consultant, journalist and copywriter in a range of large and small organiare vesations - and I still do some work in this area.
Many of my current clients are facing very pressurised situations with limited resources or challenging staff issues, or are returning to the world of work after a break for childcare or health issues. I specialise in helping people maximise their existing resources and find creative and flexible solutions to the challenges that face them.
I received in-depth training from Coaching Development, which I believe to be one of the best coaching programmes in the World. I am trained in NLP and Transactional Analysis. I have also completed a Diploma in Coaching and undertaken advanced coach training in Corporate Coaching, the Boundaries between Coaching and Therapeutic Inteventions and Mindfullness in Coaching.
