I have over 10 years experience advising on all aspects of civil and commercial disputes ranging from contentious high value litigation and professional negligence, to more typical day to day contract and negligence disputes. Whilst primarily being a litigator, I also provide commercial landlord and tenant advice, draft and review commercial leases and documents, and assist with smooth and fast business sales/transfers.
I have a growing client following based on my reputation as a strong litigator, ability to provide legal services at good value, and advising my clients not to engage me where there in no viability is spending good money after bad!
I co-founded Ask Legal Solicitors having joined from Rain Gaskell Solicitors, where I was the managing partner. Prior to Rain Gaskell, I was a member of the commercial team at the national firm Berrymans Lace Mawer. I qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and have significant experience in civil and commercial litigation having acted for a range of clients from international companies, small to medium enterprises through to individuals. I has diverse experience in various contentious areas of law and am also experienced in personal injury claims.

Despite the legs not being as quick as they used to be, I still enjoy playing football, and captain the Ask Legal football team in 5-a-side tournaments, and play regularly.
I am fortunate to have seen much of the world (30+ countries on the last count), and those experiences enable me to have great relations with clients of any background.
