“I have been working with Axis Architecture since 2019 on a project to
extend our pavilion. I am a councillor for Shedfield Parish Council and lead
on the project.
The project was somewhat hampered by the pandemic and the cost of
living crisis, so my association with Axis has been over a longer timeframe
than originally anticipated. Despite all the hurdles we had to cross we have
worked tirelessly together on this and I have been delighted by the due
diligence and commitment shown by the architects.
They took us from design stage, through planning and then into tendering
and project management. We have now been working on site for 6 months
and I have been impressed with the level of detail that was put in place
to ensure that all has gone as smoothly as one could hope for with such
a complicated project. Axis have recommended structural engineers and
other specialists as required and this has all been highly satisfactory.
Our project has involved building an extension for changing rooms which
has been partly funded by the Football Foundation and thus required
required compliance with standards set down by the FA. Again this was all
handled without any problems. We also extended the pavilion providing a
light and bright space for our community as well as ensuring accessibility
for all into the building and suitable facilities for all.
Communication with Axis has been exemplary and the friendly team have
been a delight to work with.
