Adrian at AWS Accountants helped me with my self assessment form as I’d recently started up some new work at weekends. He was really patient and took the time to explain how the tax calculation worked. To be honest I’d been dreading doing it and the fees were less than I’d expected, especially since he came to see me one evening after I’d finished my main job and went through what I could and couldn’t claim for.
AWS Accountants helped me with a set of accounts that were overdue. Adrian went out of his way to speak to companies house and HMRC and as a result the penalty was lower than it might have been. He’s found a bookkeeper for me to work with this year and so I hope this problem won’t happen again!
Adrian was incredibly helpful, he helped me submit my tax return after my first year of being self-employed. Adrian liased with HMRC with regards to payments due and helped me identify what is an allowable expense and how this can reduce my overall tax burden and which was so helpful as someone newly self-employed/sole trader. He put together a suggested list of points to include but as it was for internal use only he made sure that we adapted it so it was useful to us. The plan was clearly written and the forecasting software he used live with us so we could change things then.
