I have no interest in pension or tax matters but knew I ought to be responsible and check my financial position as I approach retirement in a few years. So, I wanted someone trustworthy and knowledgeable who would review my position, suggest sensible courses of action and, hopefully, leave me without ever having to think about pensions again (or at least not for several years).
