    Sonya’s background is in aviation training and she also holds a City & Guilds Adult Education Teaching Certificate that qualifies her to train within Further Education. In 1997, she was instrumental in setting up the NVQ Cabin Crew programme at South Trafford College and has lectured in their Travel & Tourism Department. She has been an associate member of the Professional Speaker’s Association for a number of years, undertaking public speaking programmes for women’s business groups. Sonya has produced and run multi-cultural courses throughout Europe, delivering to delegates speaking business English. She is also an accredited ‘SDI’ (Strength Deployment Inventory) facilitator helping organisations to look at leadership, teamwork and individual communication styles. Her aviation, banking and retail background make her an ideal facilitator of Interpersonal and Soft Skills. She has delivered to delegates from management to front line staff. Sonya’s key skill and passion is in bringing out the best in her delegates in developing personal impact and confidence in and Presentation Skills, Train the Trainer, Teambuilding, Assertiveness and Influencing. She has recently been chosen to be an Associate Member of the CIPD to deliver their Certificate in Training Practice Programme. Aviation accreditations include Resource (Team) Management, CAA Fire Training, Safety, Security and First Aid. She has extensive experience in the Communication and Customer Service industry at all levels; therefore her facilitation skills reflect reality using a gently humorous and common sense approach with plenty of opportunity for discussion, interaction and accelerated learning experiences.
