Summary
Managing change is an integral part of any organisation. How individuals and companies deal with unexpected challenges that occur, impacts an organisation, one way or another. At these times it is critical for leaders to prioritise what steps they need to take to ensure that their employees remain engaged and motivated. At these times is it also essential that leaders and managers look after the wellbeing of their staff. It is against this background, and her own experiences working in Education for over 25 years and beyond, that the founder, Ruth Pearson, has trained to be a verifiyer for the London Healthy Workplace Charter. She is also a coach, trainer and inspirational speaker.
Looking after the wellbeing of staff:
- Increases productivity
- Improves communication
- Creates a better work-life balance
- Delivers a happier work environment.
Integrity is the first characterisic that is important to Ruth Pearson as a leader and professional. She is an excellent role model, and works with others to build their confidence, to up-skill them and to assertain their preferred style of working using her training as a Motivational Maps Practitioner.
Ruth is a certified Master Coach and uses this experience along with skills gained as a Senior Leader working in the Secondary Sector in Education. She has a genuine passion to work with organisations to grow and develop their teams. She trains others in the importance of good communication especially the use and benefits of active listening.
She is a published author. Her second book, 'Say Yes to New Opportunites', is due out later this year. It is a very practical personal development and leadership book that shares case studies of her own experiences and those of some of her clients. It naturally blends examples from education and the business world. It covers areas around motivation, listening effectively, how to have the right attitude and level of engagement and how to be in the minority and not the majority.
