The main treatment we offer is rTMS.
Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) is;
-The application of repetitive magnetic pulses over the scalp to produce electrical activity in specific regions of the brain
-rTMS uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the neurons in the brain related to mood and anxiety, where communication between neurons is either over-active or under-active.
-The magnetic field produced by the rTMS equipment induces or reduces electrical activity in the neurons
-Stimulation of the prefrontal cortex by rTMS in patients with psychiatric disorders such as depression can lead to complete remission.
-Patients reporting that they feel much more positive; they are more sociable, motivated and talkative.
-Treatment is non invasive
