Summary
After completing my Fine Art Bachelors Degree, I became very interested in computer design software and furthered my education in the Adobe Creative Suite. With this and lots of enthusiasm, I was able to get employment, at an internet software business, as an HTML developer.
It’s been a career that’s lasted for over twenty years, working mainly in fulltime positions for small companies and global brands. Elluse is a side-hustle, run on a Friday, Weekends and Evening. It’s a small business that sells my artistic creations all over the internet and is also open to commission work.
PHILOSOPHY
Elluse is the product of my fascination with being ‘elusive’ and not being able to define or place myself anywhere. I have always been interested in how human beings have to understand and label things. Although I can see this is obviously, a form of intelligence by using scientific practices to learn and experiment.
I can also see how damaging it can be to societies and individuals. The type of disruptive behaviour I see is when people go over to other countries and examine how that culture works and usually try to change it.
I wonder if these obsessions with controlling people are to make themselves feel in control in an uncontrollable world. I also wonder if it’s a lot to do with people obsessed with power and money.
Because of this interest, my art evokes thoughts of escapism and being a free spirit. The feelings of self-love, self-empowerment are deeply rooted in me, as well as the joy, of being an individual.
I encourage everyone to find out what their opinions are and not just go to the media to form it for you but to read books and research on relevant subjects. It will lead to understanding yourself deeply and will then lead to REAL self-love and self-confidence. Who wouldn’t want that?o
