I recently completed 29 years with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, with the last nine years as a Fire Safety Team Leader for the Eastern Area of Lancashire.I am a Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) and have completed all the Fire Safety Courses provided by the Fire Service College. I have extensive experience having carried out hundreds of inspections on all types of premises in order to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005. I have liaised with Building Control Officers, Approved Inspectors, Architects and Fire Engineers on complex building consultations, where the understanding of fire safety legislation is vital.

I have been a Fire Safety Consultant since leaving the Fire Service I have produce hundreds of Fire Risk Assessments for all types of properties.

My reports contain significant findings with explanations on how to rectify any possible issues.My reports have never been disputed by a Fire Authority.
