I recently completed 29 years with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, with the last nine years as a Fire Safety Team Leader for the Eastern Area of Lancashire.I am a Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) and have completed all the Fire Safety Courses provided by the Fire Service College. I have extensive experience having carried out hundreds of inspections on all types of premises in order to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005. I have liaised with Building Control Officers, Approved Inspectors, Architects and Fire Engineers on complex building consultations, where the understanding of fire safety legislation is vital.
