Summary

I am an electronics engineer with training in software development having over 40 years experience of working with a large number of companies and sectors in various parts of the country. This has allowed me to develop a high level of organisational, project management, team working and communication skills in addition to my core electronic and computing skills.

My first experience in computing came at university where I completed a project to interface a piece of astronomical equipment to to a very early PC involving both hardware and software.

Following that I gained experience as a senior test engineer helping to develop test strategies and leading a team of engineers investigating production problems, after which I worked debugging and testing Sum Micro systems equipment. After training in software development I spent time developing Windows and website software.

I am currently the owner of BH Computing which provides a quality and individual computer repair, maintenance and support service in Lancashire to both domestic and small business customers. This allows me to bring together all my previous knowledge and skills and making these available to its customers.
