Area of Expertise

FIRE RISK ASSESMENT

The Regulatory Reform Order 2005 (RRO)superceeded the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 with regards to the need for detailed fire risk assessments to be carried out by a competent persons. When we are instructed to carry out fire risk assessments for you we provide a fully certificated Fire Safety Training Course to support our assessments.

If your business has had a fire certificate issued by your local Fire Service in the past then you must also have an up-to-date Fire Risk Assessment to stand alongside it. The RRO states that any business employing over five persons must have a written Fire Risk Assessment to ensure compliance with the order and subsequently the Fire Precautions Act 1977.

At D.J.M. Health & Safety Consultants Ltd., we are able to provide guidance through the adherence process, which will enable your business to comply with the above regulations. Our consultant will survey your premises and provide a calculated risk analysis report. Included in our package is a full year's limited advice on new legislation, should it arise. This way your business stays one step ahead of forthcoming changes.
