Summary
Mediation is a process for separated couples to discuss arrangements for children or finances, with a trained Mediator who will facilitate these discussions and give legal information. It is available to other family members also, and it can be flexible to take in to account differing situations and needs. Legal Aid is still available for Mediation, depending on an individual’s work situation and income.
Expertise
I completed my Law Degree at the University of Mancheseter in 2009 and completed my Family Mediator training in 2010. I then mediated private cases for 2 years before completing my portfolio and passing the FMC's competence assessment, to enable me to undertake publicly funded mediation. My passion for mediation and drive as a professional working within this field continues to grow.
Mediating complex child and financial cases. Providing legal information, although not individual advice, in family law matters. Assisting dispute resolution. Managing conflict. Assisting couples to focus on moving forward positively.
