Summary
I was an underachiever in school and left with just a few GCSEs and one A-Level. I wanted to study science at university so I needed to gain more qualifications for the entry requirements. So, while working in the NHS I studied at the Open University. These qualifications enabled me to go to Kings College London to read Immunology. Leaving with a 2.1 BSc I went to Newcastle University to research anti-cancer drugs. After leaving Newcastle I worked for Loreal for a short time and then entered the teaching profession.
I am a charted Biologist, a member of the Royal Society of Biology and a member of the Chartered College of Teaching.
I have been teaching only A-Level Biology for over 20 years at a top FE college in Wales. The Biology department is 1st class and many of my students go on to Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities. With thousands of hours of experience in tutoring A_level Biology, I can help you achieve exam success just like hundreds of previous students.
I struggled at school so have experienced the upset and despair that comes with failing exams and not being able to move on in life in the direction you want. Adversity really does make you stronger, but you may need a bit of help along the way.
