With over 20 years’ experience working in the field of HR. Graduated with an MSc in Human Resource Management from Business School at Salford University and a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personal Development). I have a real passion for Employee Engagement, Recruitment, Talent Management, Retention, People Management and Training and Development. I have worked both in blue chip, multinational organisations and smaller operations at management level for over 25 years. I am an expert in Employment Law. Working as part of the senior management team to offer all HR solutions ranging from recruitment, training and development to departmental growth, and restructuring entire sections of the organisation whilst still maintaining the highest level of customer service.

All employee relations issues including change management, disciplinaries, grievances, capability, absence management, redundancy, organisational restructure and employee engagement practices. Strategic HR Management for both blue chip organisations (HMV music retail the RAC motoring services and Aviva insurance services and also smaller companies at senior level.
Consult and provide sound legal advice to a wide range of clients on all aspects of Employment Law.
Compile evidence for Employment Tribunals and offer support, guidance and legal representation to our client base.
Manage all HR cases including disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings, redundancy and TUPE procedures, termination of employment, contracts of employment, medical capability processes and
Work together with all unions across the whole portfolio of clients in a range of different industries to solve employee and organisational issues.
Liaising with a wide range of organisations involving such things as race relations, disability, gender, age, religion, and health and safety.
Responsible for all HR activities across several sites and regions. Giving advice on employment law and employee relation matters. Supporting managers conducting disciplinary and grievance meetings, employment tribunal cases and redundancy and TUPE issues.
Develop policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
Recruiting staff including, developing job descriptions, job analysis, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates.
Advising on pay and other remuneration issues including promotion and benefits. Undertaking regular salary reviews in line with market forces.
