Summary
I trained as a teacher and taught in a variety of settings for 30 years. These included teaching English as a foreign language abroad (including France, Spain, Baltic States, Poland and Hong Kong) and teaching French and Spanish in Secondary state schools.
Since June 2018 I have been an independent distributor for Utility Warehouse which has taught me a lot about working with people and marketing a concept.
I have been looking for a suitable networking group for some time in which I can expand my field of contacts and learn from others.
I offer a free service in which I review your bills and show you an option for paying less and simplifying your life.

Education History

Manchester University
1984 - 1988I studied French and Russian at Manchester University. I then did a one year PGCE in Education and became a French teacher. I went to live in Barcelona to improve my Spanish so that I could also teach that. During this time, I developped my career to include teaching English as a foreign language. This took me to some interesting and varied places to work such as Poland and Hong Kong. On returning to the UK I became a French and Spanish teacher and branched out into middle management. Yet, I had always harboured a desire to work for myself so I took the opportunity that Utility Warehouse offered me .
Interests and Hobbies
I play the piano and the ukelele.
I run to keep fit, I did one marathon , that was enough!
I love reading and cinema and languages
