I joined the Fire Service 1973 and progressed through the ranks and diciplines, gaining expertise in enforcement of fire safety leglislation, training centre instructor in a wide variety of areas and retired as Commander of Bolton North Fire Station in 2003.
My area of experties is a multi - disciplined approach to minimising risk from fire, applying current fire safety leglislation and guidance in a sympathic manner for clients in the business community and negotiating with the fire service, using all the experience and knowledge which I was able to gain over thirty years.

During my thirty years in Fire Service I gained several proffessional qualifications in Fire Safety, Fire Investigation, Health and Safety, Management of Hazardous Materials and Company Management Strategy. Since setting up our company we have continued to go from strenght to strenght and I have applied fire safety leglislation to a wide range of premises large and small, with their own individual problems and solutions.

Interests and Hobbies
I am involved in Rotary being the secretary of Rotary Club Bolton Daybreak, we raise money for local and international charities. Also I run a local charity call Teddies For Loving Care (TLC) which place fluffy teddies bears in to the local Royal Bolton Hospital Chilrens Accident and Emergency Department for the staff to give, as they see fit, to distressed children for them to cuddle. It is a privilege to sit twice a month as a Magistrate on the Bolton Bench.
