Summary

Wesram focuses on helping companies to claim tax relief under the governments Research & Development Tax Relief regime. Many companies don't believe they qualify for this valuable relief because they don't employ teams of scientists or aren't designing a completely new cutting edge product.

Nothing could be further from the truth, any company who is seeking to innovate either to create new products, improve existing products or simply make themselves more efficient are eligible to claim under the scheme.

The benefit of making a claim under the R&D Tax relief rules, is that a company is able to claim tax relief on 225% of it's qualifying expenditure. That means the company gets tax relief on more than twice its actual physical expenditure resulting in substantially lower corporation tax liabilities (and even a cash refund if the company is loss making)
