Summary
Julie is an award-winning Family Law Consultant, a fully qualified mediator who is registered with the CMC and is certified to conduct Court of Protection mediation. With a background in negotiation, she is frequently instructed to assist Litigants in Person in the Family and Civil Courts.
Julie assists clients in the capacity of a Professional McKenzie Friend in the Family Court under the Children's Act 1989, Family Law Act 1996, and the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973. Her practice includes Domestic Abuse, Divorce Financial Remedies, Child Arrangement Orders, Non-Molestation Orders, and Occupation Orders. She is qualified mental health first aider and an SCMA (Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates) Mediation Advocate.
She is working towards completing her CILEX Level 3 Certificate in Law with a specialism in Family Law and Practice. Julie is also studying the ILSPA (Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs) Advanced Diplomas in Civil Litigation and Family Law.
Julie is a single parent with 4 children and 2 dogs. Outside of work she enjoys photography, days out with her children, and studying a variety of subjects.
