2014 - 2017In addition to graduating with a first-class degree, Claire’s dissertation was nominated for the Gamini Salgado Prize for imagination, intellectual flair, ambition in scope, sophistication in argument and real sparkle and style in delivery.
Focusing on the topics of culturally specific conceptions of masculinity and trauma, Claire's final dissertation reflects her personal interests in psychoanalysis, cross media relationships, cross cultural relationships and getting to grips with the cultural construction of identity.
