Summary
I have been an HR specialist for over 30 years in all areas of human resource management, am a mature, skilled, dedicated and credible consultant who prides herself on building effective business relationships and adding value to the companies I work with. I have an un-confrontational and modest style, and am particularly effective in relating to individuals on a one-to-one basis, exploring issues, developing action plans, and helping people overcome difficult situations.
I am particularly interested in maximising the effectiveness of individuals to help them reach their full potential be it within their existing organisation or as they transition to a new one whilst ensuring the business needs of the Company are achieved. These include assisting individual’s transition into work, alternative careers and/or lifestyles (outplacement), recruitment, employee engagement and wellbeing.
I am a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management & Development and have a Masters degree in Human Resources and Change Management. I'm a qualified British Psychological Society certified assessor and also qualified to teach adults in the lifelong learning sector.
I am particularly skilled in helping Managers get the best out of their staff, whether that is through developing potential, dealing with difficult or problem employees, or improving morale particularly during or following re-organisation.
I'm also skilled in Outplacement, Career Transition, Employee Engagement, Communications and Performance Management and Recruitment.
I have personally designed and delivered a range of management training modules and have led projects including the redesign of business processes, productivity improvement, and led a number of significant restructuring programmes.
