Summary

Successful organisations understand that if they invest in their staff, through innovative people management strategies, then sickness and attrition remain low and productivity remains high. Investment in staff enables an organisation to recruit and retain the right people, build commitment, improve quality, offer better service and give everyone more choice.

Wellbeing is about finding new ways for people to work within the organisation, which will make the business a more productive place – creating an environment where staff are healthy, successful, fulfilled and valued.

At Wellbeing we make a positive impact on the overall wellbeing of staff by providing practical solutions which result in increased staff loyalty and satisfaction, lower sickness and attrition, and an improved working environment, with greater flexibility for both the staff and the organisation.

Expertise

The Wellbeing Programme was founded in 2005 by Sarah Jones and Rachel Watson, who each have twenty years experience spanning a wide variety of roles within the Financial Services Industry. They have managed successful teams through periods of significant change, organisational restructuring and outsourcing. They bring a wealth of practical, hands on experience to their training and coaching; including performance management, coaching, stress management, resilience, employee wellbeing, motivation, managing conflict and difficult situations, and many others.
A significant amount of the work they do is around employee wellbeing and health promotion. They have delivered health promotion seminars to passengers on board P&O cruises. They regularly support national health initiatives such as National Stress Awareness Day, Work-Life Balance week, Healthy Working Lives (Scotland), and have provided a selection of consultancy work.
