Summary
We have recently launched the Liverpool & Wirral Social Stock Exchange in partnership with Liverpool and Wirral councils. The aim of the exchange is to support economic growth in the Liverpool City Region by connecting local businesses with social and environmental values at their core, with like-minded investors, supported by local professionals.
We are the world’s only exchange that allows members to trade and connect to those in the impact investing. We bring together companies and investors because we recognize that impact investing business (i.e. achieving market comparable financial returns as well as achieving a pro-social benefit) is a more sustainable and long-term solution to the world’s problems than charitable donations and philanthropy.
Membership is strictly regulated and monitored by an Independent Admissions Board in order to ensure that only those who make a legitimate and substantial social and/or environmental impact are allowed to raise capital and trade. We are regulated by the FCA and members can choose to list on a Recognised Investment Exchange.
