'My Online Webshop' ( www.my-online-webshop.com)was created and set up in 2012 by two ex colleagues who have over 40+ man years experience in the software and technology arena. Based near Manchester, we wanted to use our experience and skills to help people start selling online: even though times are tough we thought we would give it a real go and try and help NW small businesses and individuals who have a passion for selling their goods or services, but are a little bit scared of IT and new technology - and not sure who or where to turn to.
We have worked for large technology companies such as IBM in senior sales and technical/development roles and have tried to pool our skills and experience to do something more personal We have developed a superb no risk, very low cost e-commerce enabled website solution that we set up for people and also build the back end (order management/fulfilment etc..) so they can manage and run their online shop. We work with all clients to tailor the website to look how they want to be seen been and provide them with our own branded CMS solution ( my-online-webspace) to change and tweak it themselves. We charge a very low cost for this where in the past it may have cost them literally thousands of pounds to have one built. We also look after the hosting, security and back ups for them ( via Rackspace Data Center) so all they have to do is promote their online shop to the world!
We genuinely want to help regional traders and businesses flourish in the new internet world hence our business model for world class but low cost and low risk applications.
