Summary

For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed taking pictures. My dad was a keen amateur photographer, and he passed on this passion to me. He even bought me my first SLR camera, a Minolta 7000x

After teaching martial arts for a few years, I decided to have a career change and went to the University of Huddersfield to pursue a degree in photography, in which I achieved a First Class Honours in 2016.

Most of my focus was around portraiture, and my FMP was a series of portraits of people from the LGBTQIA+ communities.

I then continued my studies, gaining an MA in Digital Media in 2017. This time around I produced a documentary following a kickboxer on her way to a Commonwealth title fight. I also wrote my thesis on Gender Performance Through Martial Arts Practice.

I photographed my first wedding in 2012 and shot several more while at university. Weddings are a brilliant way for me to explore different genres of photography and allow me to have fun as a photographer.

To be the best possible photographer for you that I can be, ongoing training is essential. Therefore, I have a BIPP Fellowship and am a member of Flash Masters and Fearless Photographers.

I photograph all types of weddings and welcome enquiries for same-gender, non-binary folks, or however else you choose to identify.

I’d love to hear from you if you’re seeking a passionate and experienced wedding photographer. Don’t hesitate to contact me to learn more.
