Summary
I worked and trained at the London office of a large and reputable nationwide law firm in the Commercial Litigation department where I gained invaluable experience representing corporations, charities and individuals, both at home and internationally. During my time there I was involved in defending a £4million Defamation and Intellectual Property claim, successfully bringing an action for breach of data protection, representing a company shareholder in shareholder dispute, advocating in County Courts and the High Court before Judges and Masters as well as making numerous successful applications to set aside judgement in default.
Throughout my career I have undertaken instructions to represent clients in a variety of Commercial matters including:
- being the lead solicitor in a company purchase transaction, including boarding kennels;
- negotiating long leases for commercial premises;
- reviewing and negotiating complex and high value contracts for both private companies and public bodies; and
- preparing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements including Shareholder Agreements, Service Agreements and Terms of Business.
I also has extensive Litigation experience, taking instructions from both Claimants and Defendants in High Court and Tribunal matters including the Business and property Court, Commercial Court, Technology and Construction Court, First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and Health Care Professionals Tribunal Service.
I pride myself on delivering a high quality, efficient and proactive service for all of my clients and am proficient in negotiating and advising on commercially sensible options and alternatives to both commercial matters and dispute resolution where possible.
I joined Kleyman & Co Solicitors upon qualifying as a solicitor in January 2019.
