Summary

Hudson House seafood restaurant and bar opened its doors on Friday 24th February 2017, it is a seafood restaurant in the heart of Liverpool. The city is long overdue a fresh seafood restaurant and this one does not disappoint. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, overlooking the magnificent architecture of The Strand, including Liverpool’s Three Graces.

 

The restaurant itself is a stunning setting, it is spacious and filled with natural light. The floor to ceiling windows within the main restaurant area overlook Beetham Plaza’s courtyard. The ivory interior, soft cream furnishings and water features give the restaurant a subtle nautical theme whilst remaining elegant and sophisticated. 

 

The bar area is separate from the main area, which gives an element of privacy for after work or pre-dinner drinks. The bar area is south facing, again it has floor to ceiling windows which overlook The Strand, this allows the sun to flood the whole area, giving a summer feeling even in Februarys cold weather, it is the perfect setting to relax and enjoy cocktails.

 

Guests can also enjoy the private mezzanine that overlooks the restaurant on one side and has beautiful views of Liverpool on the other side, this view is even more fantastic when Liverpool is lit up in the evening. Used for private events this floor can hold up to 40 guests standing and up to 30 seated.

 

Hudson House also has an impressive garden area, this is situated in the courtyard of Beetham Plaza. The Garden has a grass lawn which is perfect for seafood barbeques in the summer, the wooden pergola is surrounded by vine leaves, plants and water features, finished with fairy lights, all creating an exotic feel for al fresco dining or simply relaxing with a drink.
