It can do this because it works with a panel of over 250 lenders. Although this includes high street banks, over 90% of business goes elsewhere: commercial banks, merchant banks, private funding groups, crowd funders, investment trusts and high net worth personal investors. The dominant sectors of the market for HCP are property finance and business loans, but it is also active in other forms of commercial finance, notably asset finance and invoice finance.
