Drawing on a lifetime of extensive business exposure, spanning the shop floor (as a grocer’s daughter) - to boardroom as the Intrapreneur with notable organisations UK and International in b2c and b2b markets e.g., GSK, Aviva, HSBC, Direct Line, BBC, BT, NHS, Serco, Willmott Dixon, NHS, PWC, Cabinet Office and even the Salvation Army!

The diversity of her experience and proven track record, working with over 50 organisations spans from startups and SME’S (many PE backed) to FTSE 100’s through all deal and growth stages, in Executive, Interim, NED, advisory and Board roles focused on Commercial Growth, Marketing and Sales.

Karen provides deep personal insight and commercial acumen encompassing all aspects of Marketing and Sales and the levers to scale your business to grow top line revenue – profitably and sustainably. Customer insight, brand, proposition; product design, pricing; communications, digital, customer experience; distribution, sales, bid management; partnering; processes, infrastructure/ Martech, data, CRM risk management, governance, leadership, KPI’s, forecasting etc. the list is endless.

Karen helps focus on the priorities for growth. Whether for start-up, fund raising, exit, M&A, JV, partnerships, turnaround or passing a business on to the next generation Karen has real life experience. She handles the challenges she works with energetically and pragmatically, grounded by her love of gardening (plus two allotments) and her twin sons.
