In July 2016 Richard from Fenny Cabs (now called FC in this article) came to 08UK to inquire about getting a new virtual gold 01908 landline number that could then be pointing calls received on to it at various mobiles for their taxi business, as those needing to take the sales order calls were always mobile themselves.

08UK were able to provide the very memorable 01908 number at a quality FC were very happy with for a nominal set up fee. No monthly rentals or additional charges are now implemented by 08UK. FC simply pay for calls received on to the virtual number which are routed to the mobile on cover that day.
08UK did have to charge a one-off set up fee for the Gold/Memorable Landline Number. 08UK does not charge any ongoing rental per month for the use of the gold number, nor do we charge for the web portal access control nor for the call handling features provided.
FC is required to pay for the minutes from calls received on to the number delivered to the mobile, on a per minute basis. 08UK include a bundle of minutes included in to our minimum £15/month charge.
Overall Outcome
08UK provided a new gold memorable 019 number for FC from our list of available gold numbers the number actually originated from BT. Routing to different mobiles was a the requirement and so we set up FC with online portal access so any member of their team can login securely to make changes exactly when required.
FC received from 08UK detailed step by step training on the online portal, a free resource our operations team ran through the portal with FC and now they are now confidently making their own call plan changes without 08UK support. However should they need our support FC are safe in the knowledge that if required the operations team can jump in to assist.
By supplying FC with a new virtual memorable 01 landline number that could be routed to various mobiles we were able to solve FC needs. The number was of a quality that is it very easy to remember and using this number removes the negative perception of phoning a not easy to remember mobile number, which is what FC were using. FC was also able to advertise their brilliant 01908 number on business cards knowing they own the number for Life.
