Making Tax Digital Increases Costs for Businesses

According to a joint user survey by CIOT and ATT, making tax digital is not reducing errors and is proving to be much more expensive to implement than HMRC originally claimed.

It has had very little impact on errors made by clients and the majority of remaining responses reported an increase in errors rather than a reduction.
