This CFA Level III start-up class will begin by introducing the concept of Behavioural Finance and inspect how it challenges some of the assumptions made in traditional finance.
The topic of Individual Investors, a hugely important part of the Level III curriculum, will be looked at and the different aspects of an Investment Policy Statement will be explored by working through a simple case study.
In the second half of the day more familiar topics will be re-visited, such as Fixed Income and Derivatives, but looked at with the focus shifted on to how these asset classes can be used to manage risks in a portfolio (a common theme at Level III).
