Learn all about the foundations of studio lighting in this hands-on workshop!
This workshop is aimed at photographers who want to begin working with studio lighting, when photographing people; you may not yet have your own studio flash but you’ll have the skills to control your camera when working with available light/day light.
During the day you will be introduced to the basic concepts of studio lighting including their set-up, controlling the quality and contrast of lighting through the use of modifiers (light boxes, umbrellas, snoots, etc). It will be a day of practical and hands-on instruction, as we moved through a number of differing lighting scenarios, including working with a single light, single light with reflector, before moving onto more sophisticated set-ups using multiple lights.
You'll get first-class tuition from having two tutors on-hand in this workshop, bringing added value to the day! We are limiting the number of places available for this workshop to ten, to make sure it’s a quality learning experience for delegates, with plenty of take-away skills and images.
