Macc is a charity and our purpose is quite simply the city of Manchester. We encourage, support and develop the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and local people to have a real influence over the places and communities in which they live.
This networking event is open to businesses only of all sizes with an interest in finding out more about what the VCSE sector is about and how they can work together with these organisations to make Manchester a better place to live. There will be opportunities to begin to develop mutually beneficial relationships, while hearing about the experiences of those who already do it now, to inspire new methods of working. Judy Vickers from charity Lifeshare will be present to talk about the charity’s experiences working with local businesses, and Alison Browne from Turley will be attending to talk about how and why they choose to give back as a business.
