Event DescriptionLunchtime seminar - Why people can be difficult and ways to transform conflict into positive outcome
Event SummaryAll managers need their staff to co-operate. But sometimes, people seem determined to be contrary - and the longer this behaviour continues, the harder it can be to deal with. When we seek outside support, that contrary person can become even more obstructive. It can seem like there is no way out of these conflict situations.
This interactive presentation will identify some of the core reasons why people can be difficult - and ways to surmount them. Through theory, real-life examples, and audience participation, delegates will have the opportunity to raise their awareness of how they personally can transform conflict in the workplace, in order to achieve more positive outcomes.
