Event DescriptionManagement event run by the Chartered Management Institute
Event SummaryThis promises to be a personally valuable and thought-provoking event. Do treat yourself and experience someone who speaks a truly special kind of sense! How we think and how we talk to ourselves impacts upon our performance and efficacy. The beliefs, attitudes, habits and expectations that we uphold prevent us from realising our true potential - which is huge. Sue will explore the way in which we sabotage our own success and look at the ways in which we can set and achieve our goals.
These ideas are part of the work of The Pacific Institute, which was founded almost 40 years ago and is now a world wide organisation helping to bring about change within both the individual and organisations. The Pacific Institute works in the most deprived and violent places in the world as well as with governments, the corporate sector, education, sport - any place where people want to change!
Sue was a teacher for 30 years, a headteacher for 21 years and National President of the National Association of Headteachers (NAHT). Her work as a consultant and with The Pacific Institute has taken her around the world, allowing her to work towards her goal of "Making a Difference". She especially loves helping to build capacity within individuals and organisations.
